GARBAGE!!!

The price was right, the power was right, and above all, the shiny COMPAQ badge was on the front. So , i plunk down my 2 grand for my "STATE OF THE ART" compaq presario CDS 962. I take it home. I plug it in, it loads everything, works flawlessly for the first 2 months, then everything went wrong. 2 modems, 2 motherboards, a CD rom drive (sony hmm, probably made to break, as it was going into a compaq product) hassle, as well, the last authorized service center was kind enough to strip all my serial numbers off my componants, Good bye warranty! try explaining to a large corperation that "uhh, i LOST my serial numbers, it doesnt happen. I was sworn at by compaq, my latest problem was a motherboard fire, however, compaq said it is MY problem, i cant return it, i cant get my money back from compaq, so im stuck with a very unattractive $2000 conversation piece, to some its cheap, but when im plunking down MY BEANS, i better get a damn good product, compaq has not delivered, LET IT BE KNOWN COMPAQ IS OWNED BY THE DEVIL. I would never buy another one of their products, im perfectly happy with my $1200 P2 450 MHZ, as i see it, im paying roughly $200 per letter, to buy a compaq, that used to mean somthing, it doenst anymore
