| Before leaving the site I just had to read
some of the other stories. Patrick and his jumper problems I can definitely relate
to. They could not get the jumpers correct for the 8 gig hard drive. After a very
frustrating 30 minutes with notech support and being transferred to a specialist I found a
label hidden by the hard drive holder that clearly stated the settings. Neither one of the
notechs knew of the label. Reading some of these complaints I could relate or understand
all of them. If it is true that the top execs are leaving compaq we should keep track of
where they go and remember not to buy those products. I remorse over not knowing of this site before my purchase. Any one buying a compaq I only have one thing to say to you: FOOL! |
