| I'm a Compaq TSR, I like this site,
although some of the issues listed here are sad and somewhat serious, I find most of them
funny. These people expect someone making $7.50 an hour to give a damn about their system,
when by the calls we receive, and what you do to these systems you don't give a danm about
them yourselves. Why would a sane person buy a computer designed for home or internt and
try to run their business on it, and then wonder why it doesn't function properly??? I
haven't seen any Presario's listed as BUSINESS computers. Home/Office does not equate to
Business!!! Office means wordprocessing(typing), We take calls all day where some EU
purchased a system released 3 and sometimes 4 years ago and puts their business on it or
wants to put in a 8gb hard drive when it came with a 1.6gb hard drive and expect the QR to
work!! NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!! What about you people that add SCSI drives, scanners, cameras
and everything else you can think of and when you get a conflict, your computer is at
fault. If you wanted that stuff on your system YOU should have purchased a computer with
it installed on it or at least check to see if the items are compatable with the system!!
But NOOOOO you buy an item and it's OUR fault it won't work or it's not billable because
you bought the computer!!! Did Compaq sell it to you?? If not it's BILLABLE!!!! I have
helped several people that were out of warranty or the issue was billable because of the
attitude and demeanor of the EU. If you treat us with the same courtesy that YOU expect
you will find that the TSE will go out of their way to help you. But when you start off
bad talking us or talking down to us thats when we get an attitude!!! Remember YOU called
US to fix your computer!! We don't owe you any favors. And don't blame us for what some
salesman has told you, we don't sell anything, we fix computers!!! |
