| Well I work for site 76. That is the worse operation I have ever seen in my life. The managers constantly yell, cuss, and even threaten the techs if we aren't off the phone in 14 minutes. After about 20 minutes they hang over you, like their trying to stick you in the
ass. They're nothing but butt f*cking a**holes. Another bad thing, is about 5% of the people there speak "good"
English. The rest are from foreign countries and you can't understand a damn thing they say. The
managers there are too chicken sh*t to get on the phone when customers call because they don't want to listen to any
sh*t, and the ones that do get on the phone, make rude comments about the customers once their off the phone. I had one tell me to just "bullshit the customer just to have him shut the
f*ck up". Don't even think you'll get your box in 1 or 2 days, because that's a joke. The main problem is Cameo being down, so the managers are the ones that should be putting all the dispatches in, so it's
not the techs fault. Most of the time they obviously don't if your not receiving your box. You may want to think twice before pissing the techs off. That's the easiest way to get hung up on, put on hold for 20 minutes, or to have your system really fucked up.
Another thing is that they hire people off the streets. I could've swore I saw a guy I recognized that was on the corner begging for money once working in there. Most of the people there don't know sh*t about computers. The only thing they know is quick restore, and you will be told that if you piss someone off, just so they don't have to listen to your shit. I could go on, and on about it, and bottom line is, STAY AWAY FROM COMPAQ. Best thing to do is to form a boycott and shut them down for good. You'd be surprised what I know about that company. What I know could shut them down for good if the info fell into the right hands. Another thing is, don't think CCT, ORT, or anyone else will call you back if you are told that. You'll be waiting several weeks before they do call back, if at all. Best advice I can give if your going to buy or keep your Compaq anyway is to not get an attitude, or else the techs will hose your system for good. Bottom line is, it's not the techs fault for everything. We are told to do this or that, and if we don't, we're history. The calls are all monitored, and they know what goes on, and what is said, so don't ask
"Is Compaq a shitty computer?", because we can't answer that truthfully without getting fired. They have even admitted to it being a shitty computer, but we are told not to let the customers know that. I'll get an address for you all so you can write to Compaq Corporation directly and bitch and complain. That's why I remain anonymous with my name. If they knew I was giving out that info or any info I'd be fired. Yeah the job sucks, but it's a job, and it puts food on the table. |
