Owne(d) a Compaq presario 705US (Been so long since it hasn't worked it is out of date by now)...purchased in 12/01 in 8/02 -- had booting up and kernel data errors/problems...after dealing with the HUGE ESL problems with techs at compaq found that I was S.O.L---refusing to give up in 5/03 I was offered an x-tended warranty in the interim sent the unit back to be repaired...assuming that the USPS would lose it I put insurance on it...HOWEVER, to my surprise it arrived and was signed for now COMPAQ Has misplaced it...
CANNOT BE FOUND---Once again I am S.O.L. wish I would have found this site before I purchased in 12/01 at a mere price of $1700.
