Sorry, the above was in reply to a post from Tracey on April 16, 2002, but for some reason it ended up as a new thread here in the boards instead of as a followup to that post.
At any rate, if anyone else out there has had problems with the Quantum Fireball hard drives in their Compaqs, I'd be interested to hear about y'all's experiences.
