This is the Textile Industry of this century. Figure out what you can do and make the kind of wages you want to make at it, then do it. But don't crab about outsourcing jobs to India or wherever until you ask why wages are so high here. Hint: unions that ask for wage increases that don't reflect work output increases.... just for one. but it isn't a simple problem or solution.

Thirty or forty years ago, everything said, "made in Japan" on it, and we joked about it.... I was there. Today, try to find something that doesn't say "made in china" on it, from silverware to your electric drill.
